Ira Withdrawal Irs

Question: Early withdrawal from Roth IRA retirement account?

I have a question about early withdrawal from Roth IRA account. I have been investing money from my Roth IRA account tax free for 3 months now, I see some growth in it, and plan to do more aggressive investment to grow the money…. I know it is not a good decision to make because I might lose them all, again, I am only 26, I afford to lose that $2000 and start from scratch again…. Anyway, I plan to invest and grow my $2000 to $30,000 in 2-5 years. There are several exception to touch the IRA account without early withdrawal penalty and taxes such as, first time home purchasing, medical expenses, and education.

Most of the time, when IRS, Accountant, Finance advisors explaining about early withdrawal from Roth IRA for education, only mentioned about college education for your kids. I am only 26 years old, single, and I do not have any children. Can I withdraw all $30,000 from my Roth IRA account for my own education?

Answer: Get ready to take a serious hit on your taxes. You can alternatively borrow against that money so that you don’t have to pay taxes. You should talk to a tax accountant. That’s an easy question for them.

Question: Forgetting the pill…then having withdrawal sex…am I still safe?

I just started my new pack of pills last Monday and on Tuesday I forgot to take one and had to take 2 the following morning (Wednesday). I read somewhere on the internet that it was ok to have sex 2 days after and still be protected. However, after carefully reading my instructions, 5 days later, i realised that I should have been using additonal contraception for at least 1 week later. I had been using the withdrawal method with my boyfriend since last week (to be extra safe), but of course, as I should have had extra protection for up until a week later, it is possible that I am pregnant because of pre-cum (sperm). I am very anxious although chances are small..but of course always possible.Someone please give me their advice on my chances of being pregnant and possible things I might notice early on in pregancy. I don’t usually have crampyat all during my period, is it possible that I might not notice anything until after my period should arrive? thanks

Answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! did you do sex ed at school. Theres always a chance of getting pregnant, unless youve had surgery (your or your partner). All methods of contraception have a fail rate – so that means ‘natural’ methods are even worse. To be really safe though without surgery – go on the pill and make him wear a condom.
